Power is out in at least one neighborhood near Conway following a car crash.

Brian VanAernem, spokesman for Horry County Fire Rescue, said a car crashed into a mobile home on Rolling Hills Drive, off Myrtle Ridge Drive near S.C. 544.

The S.C. Highway Patrol is investigating the crash which occurred about 6 p.m., according to the agency’s website.

Neither Santee Cooper Electric Cooperative or Horry Electric Cooperative show the outage on their websites.

Corporal Sonny Collins, with highway patrol, said the drover clipped a parked car before hitting the house. No one was injured.

At 7 p.m. he said Horry Electric Cooperative was on scene, but did not know how many homes were without power or when it would be restored.
