Socastee man accused of having sex with dog

Horry County police arrested a Socastee man Monday after a neighbor saw him outside having sex with her dog, a police report said.

Lorenzo Paez Calles, 34, is charged with buggery.

A woman on Tyner Street called police about 10:45 p.m. Sunday after she heard one of her pitbulls whimpering as if in pain. She said she went outside and saw Calles having sex with the dog which had visible swelling. She told police Calles had an open can of beer in his hand when the incident happened.
