United Way of Horry County taking applications for 2015 funding

Applications are being taken by the United Way of Horry County for funding in 2015, according to a news release from the agency.

The application deadline is April 1, and applicants will be informed of the decision by mid-July.

To qualify, organizations must be a 501c3 with the federal government and registered with the S.C. Charities Division. Application forms are available at http://unitedwayhcsc.org/application-for-funding/ or by calling the UWHC office at 347-5195.

The United Way has been at work in Horry County for more than 40 years and helps programs in four areas: successful youth and children; strong, safe and healthy families; self-sufficiency; and a basic needs safety net.
