Andrews man sentenced to five years for ATM robbery

An Andrews man was sentenced to five years in prison for taking money from a bank ATM, according to a press release.

Jon Edgar McCutchen, 41, pleaded guilty to entering a bank with intent to steal on Feb. 24.

The release issued by Assistant Solicitor Ricky Todd Friday, said McCutchen drove through a TD Bank ATM on June 7, 2013 and saw the door to the ATM was not completely shut. McCutchen took about $66,000 from the machine and was later identified from surveillance video. The money was recovered.
