Georgetown church makes showers available for outage victims

February 13, 2014

The Screven Baptist Church in Maryville and the Southeast Baptist Association are making portable showers available for residents who have suffered outages and need them.

Georgetown County Emergency Management announced that six showers are available – three for men and three for women – and anyone who is affected the power outages may use them. The showers will be available from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday. Towels will be made available, but people should bring their own toiletries. The church is located at 2221 South Island Road in Georgetown.
