Georgetown man wanted in connection with arson

Horry County police are looking for a Georgetown man wanted in connection with an arson.

Divante Dease, 22, is accused of igniting a fire at a home in Galivants Ferry then fleeing the scene on Feb. 8, according to a post on the Horry County police department’s Facebook page.

Police have a warrant charging Dease with third degree arson.

Dease is 6’ and weighs 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information about his location can call 915-TIPS.
