A vehicle crash on S.C. 707 in the Murrells Inlet area is causing delays, according to authorities.

The crash was reported at 12:03 p.m. Monday on S.C. 707 in front of Collins Creek Grocery, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol real-time traffic website. The crash does involve someone being hurt, but details about the extent of those injuries were not immediately available Monday afternoon.

The crash was causing delays while emergency crews responded to it, so motorists in that area should expect delays or find an alternative route.
