Third suspect identified in Conway area shooting

Horry County police on Thursday identified a third teenager wanted in connection with a shooting that injured a man in January.

Quashaun Cliffton Bromell, 17, is wanted for attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Bromell also goes by “Kblocc,” has black hair, brown eyes, is 5’8” and weights 150 pounds.

Bromell is accused in a shooting that occurred on Jan. 16 on Commonwealth Circle off Singleton Ridge Road where a man suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Two others have been charged and a fourth suspect has not been identified.

Police in January charged Shaquille Rasheen Weaver, 19, and Devonte Lee McCrea, 17, both of Conway with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. McCrea was released Jan. 30 on $15,000 bond. Weaver remains jailed at J. Rebuen Long Detention Center.
