Conway police are investigating two men in connection with the armed robbery of a convenience store in the city last week, according to a police report.

Officers were called at 9:50 p.m. Friday to C&C Handi Mart for the robbery, police said. They learned form a female employee that she was sweeping the floor when two men came into the store.

The clerk said one man walked up to her in the store and pointed a gun at her and told her to go to the cash register, according to the report. A witness also was told to go to the register and then the men ordered the woman to put the money from the register into a bag.

The men then walked out of the store and into a nearby wooded area, according to the report. No one was hurt during the incident and officers did not find the robbers in the area. The incident remains under investigation.
