Police bloodhounds searching for robbery suspects in Horry County

Horry County police sent a bloodhound tracking team to search for a pair of robbery suspects off S.C. 90 Tuesday, said Lt. Robert Kegler.

Kegler said detectives are investigating an armed robbery Benjamin’s Jewelers on the 200 block of S.C. 90 Little River. Details of the robbery and a description of the suspect were not immediately available.

The bloodhounds tracked the suspects to a location where officers said it appears they fled in a vehicle.

It was not clear if the suspects took anything from the store.
