Conway police search for murder suspect

Conway police are looking for a man wanted in connection with a Jan. 6 murder.

Police on Friday issued an arrest warrant to charge San MeGales Huffman, 27, of Conway with murder.

Huffman is accused in the death of Joey Pyatt who died at Conway Medical Center while being treated for a gunshot wound, said Lt. Selena Small.

Pyatt was 23.

Barry Dewitt Bethea, 21, of Conway was charged in January with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime in connection with the homicide.

Police were called about 1 p.m. that day for gunshots being fired in the area of Pitman Street and Woodward Drive, Small said.

Police have not released a motive or any other details in the shooting.
