Sprinkler pipe breaks in North Myrtle Beach hotel

North Myrtle Beach emergency crews responded to the Laguna Keyes hotel at 5700 N. Ocean Blvd Friday afternoon to assist after a pipe broke, said city spokesman Pat Dowling.

A sprinkler pipe broke on the top floor sending water down several floors and through a number of units, Dowling said.

North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue helpd to stop the flow of the water and covered belongings in affected condominums as best as possible. A sprinkler company is repairing the pipe, Dowling said.
