Horry County police are inviting anyone between age 14 and 20 to participate in the newly created Horry County Police Explorers Program.

Participants should be interested in law enforcement and will have the opportunity to ride along with officers during their shift, assist officers during special events such as the Aynor Hoe Down and the Loris Bog Off and attend monthly meetings.

Anyone interested can call officer Joseph Rowell at the department’s west precinct at 915-5351.
