Burgess community to hold clean up in March

The Greater Burgess Community Association is hosting a community clean up event in March.

Volunteers are needed to help pick up litter along streets in the Burgess area including Holmestown Road, McDowell Shortcut Road and Bay Road, said association president Al Jordan.

The cleanup will run from 9 a.m. to noon on March 15. Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the South Strand Recreation Center.
