The ambassadors will welcome sports tourism visitors to the city and help to ensure that their stay is enjoyable.

Qualifications, according to the Chamber, include passing a background check, having a basic knowledge of North Myrtle Beach, willingness to work some nights and weekends and having a positive attitude.

An organizational meeting for those interested is scheduled at 4 p.m. Feb. 18 at the Chamber office at 1521 Hwy. 17 South.
