Myrtle Beach police were called to an Ocean Boulevard hotel after two men were seen knocking on a door and were armed with a gun, according to a police report.

Officers were called at 12:42 a.m. Friday to 400 N. Ocean Blvd., for the suspicious men on the property, police said.

The night auditor told police that the people staying in the room called to report that someone knocked on their door, so the auditor looked at surveillance video, according to the report. The video showed tow men at the door and one man appeared to have a pistol in his hand.

The people staying in the room told officers that they heard a knock on the door and when the woman asked who was there, no one replied so she didn't open the door, according to the report. The video showed the men walking to a nearby vehicle and leaving the area.
