Myrtle Beach police officers were called to an apartment in the city Wednesday afternoon after a woman was reportedly yelling and throwing items, according to a police report.

Officers found the 47-year-old woman inside an apartment at 6716 Jefferson Place about 3 p.m. Wednesday and they spoke to her about the complaints, police said.

The woman told police she was alone in the apartment and she had been yelling and throwing things because her “children kept running real fast and then disappearing,” according to the report. The woman continued to tell the officer that her children used to be small, but now are real small and then later said they were inside the dryer.

The woman allowed the officer to look into the dryer and the officer found clothing and pictures of children, according to the report. The woman also talked about an owl, china and that her mom was in the area, but “went to where Hillary Clinton told her not to go.”

The woman did not appear to be in danger or harmful to herself or others, so there was no reason to take her into emergency protective custody, the officer wrote in the report.
