Horry County police investigate stabbing in Galivants Ferry area

Horry County police are investigating a man being stabbed early Monday at a business in the Galivants Ferry area, Lt. Robert Kegler said.

Authorities were called about 8:45 a.m. Monday to the 1700 block of Barnhill Road for a stabbing, Kegler said. The victim is an adult man and details about his condition were not immediately available.

The victim told officers that a man wearing a hooded shirt stabbed him when he went into his machine shop in the area, Kegler said. No other details about the suspect or the incident were immediately available.

Detectives are investigating the incident.
