Three charged in connection with robbery of woman in Myrtle Beach

Three people are facing charges in connection with a strong armed robbery that occured along 65th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach.

Daniel Seward, 38, and Falon Shultz, 29, both of Myrtle Beach are charged with strong armed robbery. Joseph Godbolt, 33, of Myrtle Beach is charged with accessory after the fact of a felony.

Police responded Jan. 5 to the intersection of 65th Avenue North and Colonial Drive where a woman said she was robbed by two people while walking to the store, a report said.

She said when she saw two of the suspects, identified as Seward and Shultz, arguing around on the corner of the street she turned around to go home and the suspects came from behind, knocking her to the ground and punching her in the face.

The suspects took $20 from the woman, who recieved minor injuries during the incident, police said.
