A Myrtle Beach man accused of threatening to kill his neighbors was arrested Wednesday.

Daniel Robert Buehler, 52, is charged with two counts of attempted murder, first degree burglary and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony.

Myrtle Beach police responded Jan. 7 about 11:30 p.m. to an apartment on the 200 block of Flagg Street where a man was standing in a doorway with a cut to the top of his hand. Officers found broken glass on the floor and blood near the entrance to the apartment, according to an incident report.

The man told police he and his girlfriend were at home when Buehler, who seemed agitated, came over to the apartment and left twice. Shortly after leaving for the second time, Buehler is accused of barging in with a knife in one hand and a can of beer in the other and tried to stab his neighbor.

He told police his hand was cut while trying to stop Buehler.

The man used a chair to push Buehler outside. Once locked out, Buehler broke windows to the apartment, the report said.
