The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office needs help identifying three suspects wanted in connection with a burglary on the 4200 block of South Fraser Street, said agency spokeswoman Carrie Cuthbertson.

Deputies responded to the home about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday for a burglary in progress where a witness arrived and saw a vehicle, described as a light gray, early 2000 model Dodge Ram truck, in the driveway. The witness confronted two of the suspects who fled in the vehicle headed north on South Fraser Street, Cuthbertson said. The third suspect walked from behind the house, realized the vehicle was gone and fled westbound across the street into a wooded area, she said.

A bloodhound tracking team responded but lost the trail.

One suspect has blondish-brown hair approximately shoulder length and was wearing a great sweatshirt. A second suspect has a black hair and beard and was wearing a black sweatshirt with a black and green plaid coat. There was not a description for the third suspect.
