Candidates set to run for CCU’s board of trustees

Six candidates have submitted letters of intent to run for five seats on Coastal Carolina University’s board of trustees, according to the Joint Legislative Committee to Screen Candidates for College and University Boards of Trustees.

The candidates are:

2nd Congressional district–seat 2 | Oran P. Smith, Leesville

4th Congressional district–seat 4 | D. Wyatt Henderson, Greer; Rebecca C. Faulkner, Taylors

At-large–seat 8 | Fred F. DuBard, Florence

At-large–seat 10 | Samuel J. Swad, Gaffney

At-large–seat 14 | Daniel W.R. Moore Sr., North Myrtle Beach.

All of the terms will expire in 2017.
