MYRTLE BEACH — A Galivants Ferry man remained jailed Thursday morning after Horry County police charged him this week in connection with a plot to “stab, rape and dump a body” of a woman, according to authorities.
Christopher William Heuser, 18, was booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center at 11 p.m. Monday and charged with attempted murder, first-degree burglary and malicious damage to personal property with a value of $2,000 or less, according to jail records.
Horry County police filed the charges against Heuser after an officer on Sunday went to a home on Joyner Swamp Road in Galivants Ferry where an 18-year-old man and 18-year-old woman reported finding a wallet and knives in a ditch next to their house.
The victims told police that between 6:30 and 8 p.m. someone had broken a window in their house door, but nothing was taken from the house, according to the report. Inside the wallet was a “plan” that contained 14 parts of how to stab, rape and kill a woman.
The victims were concerned the plan was meant for the 18-year-old woman, according to the report. Police learned Heuser had stopped by the house looking for a lost cellphone and knew the victims.
Police went to Heuser’s home and saw a letter on his desk that matched the handwritten “plan” found inside the wallet, which did not contain any identification information for the owner, according to the report.
When officers questioned Heuser about the incidents, he said he cut the victim’s tires because he was mad at his parents and he went into the house looking for the 18-year-old woman, according to the report. Heuser said he knocked on the door until he broke the window and then unlocked the door and went inside. No one was inside the home, so Heuser said he left.
“He states he lost his plan and cellphone along the way,” according to the report. Heuser’s mother said the two knives found in the ditch were missing from her kitchen drawer.
Police also learned Heuser was recently suspended from school for downloading pornography in the library, according to the report. A therapist also told police he had warned Heuser to stay away from the victim and her house.
