Winning Mega Millions lottery ticket sold in North Myrtle Beach

— Someone who bought a lottery ticket in North Myrtle Beach for the Mega Millions drawing Tuesday night is $1 million richer, according to officials with the S.C. Education Lottery.

The Bi-Lo at 720 Main St., in North Myrtle Beach sold the $1 million winning ticket, according to a news release. The ticket matched all five white ball numbers drawn, but not the Megaball.

If the ticket had matched all six numbers, the winner would have won a share of the $636 million jackpot.

The numbers for Tuesday’s drawing were 8, 14, 17, 20, 39 and Megaball 7.

More than 323,000 players in South Carolina hold tickets for prizes from $1 up to the $1 million. Players have 180 days from Tuesday to claim their prizes. The odds of winning the $1 MILLION were 1 in 18,492,204 million.
