Myrtle Beach police arrest man, woman on prostitution charges

— Myrtle Beach police charged a man and woman in the same area Tuesday on charges related to prostitution, according to authorities.

Paul Glen Hamilton, 43, was being held at 7 a.m. Wednesday on $806 cash bond at the Myrtle Beach Jail after he was charged on Tuesday with loitering for purposes of prostitution and driving under suspension not related to a driving under the influence offense, according to Myrtle Beach police records.

Stephanie Lee Catoe, 24, also remained jailed on $718 cash bond at the jail after she also was taken into custody on Tuesday on a charge of first-offense prostitution, according to police records.

Both were taken into custody in the area of 20th Avenue South and Cassandra Lane, according to records. It was unclear if they were arrested at the same time or separately.

No other details about the arrests were available.
