— Horry County police charged a Myrtle Beach man in connection with a 16-year-old girl reporting he had raped her after giving her alcohol, and it is the second sexual assault charge filed against him this year, according to authorities.

Dashandre Jacorey Sampson, 20, of Myrtle Beach was booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center at 3:38 a.m. Saturday and charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct, second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to jail records.

Sampson is being held on $200,000 bond, jail records showed.

The victim told police that between 4 and 6:30 p.m. Friday she met with Sampson after having an argument with her father and they went to Sampson’s apartment, according to a police report filed Friday. The victim said Sampson gave her something to drink and she became incapacitated.

The victim said she was unable to fight or stop Sampson, who had sex with her, according to the report. The victim said when she did wake up, Sampson took her home and she then went to the hospital where police were called.

Court and jail records showed that Sampson was arrested on April 5 and later released on April 8 on $20,000 bail after he was charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor between the ages of 11 and 14. That charge is pending.
