Dense fog advisory in effect for Myrtle Beach area

— A dense fog advisory is in effect for the Myrtle Beach area until 11 a.m. Monday, according to forecasters with the National Weather Service in Wilmington, N.C.

The advisory warns that visibility will be less than a quarter mile and driving conditions could be hazardous.

Motorists making their morning commute should allow extra travel time, slow down, use their headlights and allow extra following distance, according to forecasters.
