Festival fun doesn’t end with winter weather in Myrtle Beach area

December has brought a fleet of sleighs’ worth of festivals and special events, including some outside a yuletide theme.

Whether it’s the annual meeting of the Low Country Warbirds military aviators on Saturday in Litchfield Beach, the March of Dimes’ annual Grand Strand Signature Chefs Auction on Dec. 12 in Myrtle Beach, or local benefit runs such as “Misty’s Category 5K” Dec. 14 at Barefoot Resort, near North Myrtle Beach, have fun choosing from the oodles of outings all month long, especially leading up to Santa’s big day and the new year.
