Myrtle Beach police arrest three on prostitution related charges

Myrtle Beach police arrested three people in connection with prostitution charges this week, according to records.

Early Wednesday, officers charged Russ Ricchard Bellamy, 33, with loitering for purposes of prostitution and Jordan Casey Jones, 33, with first-offense prostitution, according to Myrtle Beach Jail records.

It was unclear if Bellamy and Jones’ arrests were related, but they were both taken into custody in the area of Second Avenue South and Ocean Boulevard, records showed.

Bellamy is being held on $262 cash bond, while Jones is being held on $781 cash bond.

On Tuesday, police charged Virginia Lynn Chesley, 25, with first-offense prostitution and she was taken into custody in the area of 18th Avenue North and Kings Highway, according to arrest records. Chesley also faces charges of resisting arrest and two bench warrants. She is being held on $2,339 bond.

Details about the circumstances involved in the arrests were not immediately available at 7 a.m. Wednesday.
