Third teen charged in Murrells Inlet burglaries

Deputies in Georgetown County arrested a third teen in connection with several burglaries in the Murrells Inlet Community, said agency spokeswoman Carrie Cuthbertson.

Dylan Armitage Purdy, 17, of Murrells Inlet is charged with second-degree burglary.

Nance’s Creek Front Restaurant, the Hot Fish Club and two homes on South First Street were burglarized in a two week period, Cuthbertson said.

Purdy was arrested Friday in connection with the incidents.

Patricia Elizabeth Blair Hemlepp, 17, of Murrells Inlet was charged on Nov. 17 with hindering and obstructing law enforcement, two counts of second-degree burglary. She remains jailed.

Brian Scott Perry, 18, of Murrells Inlet, is charged with second degree burglary. He was arrested Nov. 17 and was released from the Georgetown County Detention Center on $10,000 bond.
