Horry County police arrest seven people in drug operation near Myrtle Beach

— Horry County police conducted a drug operation in the Racepath community near Myrtle Beach earlier this week and arrested seven people on various charges, Lt. Robert Kegler said.

The drug operation was held Wednesday in response to information about drug activity in that community, Kegler said. Detectives with the Horry County Police Department’s Narcotics and Vice Section along with officers from the Street Crimes Unit conducted the operation.

Those arrested were:

Jacob Ronald Clark, 33, of Myrtle Beach was charged with attempt to possess drugs and was released Thursday on $500 bail.

Ricky Allen Cooper, 50, of Conway also was charged with attempt to possess drugs and released the next day on $500 bail.

Tammy Evette Eller, 43, of Longs was charged with attempt to possess drugs, driving under suspension and open container of alcohol in a vehicle and remains jailed on $1,652.50 bond.

Harold Lowden Hazelbaker, 64, of Surfside Beach was charged with attempt to posses drugs and released the next day on $500 bail.

Michelle Mari Johnson, 45, of Myrtle Beach was charged with attempt to possess drugs and open container of alcohol in a vehicle and was released the next day on $1,000 bail.

Mihail Leonid Lubarsky, 32, of Myrtle Beach was charged with attempt to possess drugs and released on $500 bail.

Michael Dewarren Spivey, 41, of Myrtle Beach was charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and released the next day on $10,000 bail.
