Myrtle Beach woman charged with prostitution

— Myrtle Beach police charged a 39-year-old woman with prostitution after a security guard called police, according to a police report.

Diana Sullinger, 39, of Myrtle Beach was charged with first-offense prostitution after officers were called about 5 p.m. Wednesday to the area of 19th Avenue South and Cassandra Lane, police said.

The officer saw Sullinger walking near 17th Avenue South and Yaupon Drive, which the officer noted was an area frequented by prostitutes, according to the report. Sullinger was identified as a person being a prostitute by a local security guard.

An officer, who was working undercover, stopped Sullinger and the officer wrote in the report that she agreed to perform a sexual act for $60, according to the report. Sullinger was taken into custody and charged.
