Two charged in shooting at Myrtle Beach bar

— Two people have been charged in connection with a shooting that occurred late Monday, and police continue to search for another suspect.

Davonte Javal Shepard, 21, of Conway is charged with two counts of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime related to the shooting.

A woman was arrested Thursday in connection with the case.

Aleah Jalaan Lee, 18, of Myrtle Beach is charged with accessory after the fact of a felony, according to online records with Myrtle Beach police. Details of her arrest were not available Thursday.

Shepard is also facing a drug charge. According to an incident report, police were transporting Shepard to the Myrtle Beach jail when officers found two white pills identified as a schedule IV drug in his pocket.

Officers were called about 10 p.m. Monday to the Jet Age Café at 1401 Mr. Joe White Ave., for the shooting, police said.

Three men were listed as victims and their ages are 50, 47 and 40, according to the report.

The second suspect has not been arrested. Police consider him armed and dangerous and anyone with information about his whereabouts or the incident is asked to call police at 918-1382.

He may be driving a Cadillac Escalade or Chevrolet Avalanche.
