The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office shooting range along Browns Ferry Road is set to reopen Nov. 18 after being closed since July for maintenance, according to officials.
All existing members and those residents who want to be members must go to the sheriff’s office at 430 N. Fraser St., and obtain a permit before going to the range. Permits are available 2 to 4 p.m. Monday to Thursday to Georgetown County residents, who are 21 or older and pass a criminal history check.
The range will be open to the public 3 p.m. to dusk Monday to Wednesday, and sunrise to dusk Thursday to Sunday.
