Question | Is the city doing a good job of balancing the needs of residents with those of tourists?
Answer | Yes, I think theyre doing a good job. There is some talk that tourists get away with a lot of things, but they are the ones who are bringing money to the community.
Question | What can the city do to bring more jobs to the area and/or support younger families, as well as the retiree population?
Answer | The city won a Google award for its ability to use the Internet, and thats the kind of thing that attracts young people. With that award, we should be able to bring in more business and phone support for the high-tech field. Phone support people are sitting in offices, and more of that type of work is coming to the Carolinas.
