MULLINS — Aynor’s playoff positioning took a hit Friday night.
Mullins rallied in the second half for a 46-28 victory over the Blue Jackets.
Aynor was likely headed for a home playoff game regardless of next week’s game. Now, it’s up in the air.
“We have to beat Loris to get a first-round bye,” Aynor coach Jody Jenerette said.
Adam Doyle scored on a 60-yard run in the first quarter and Kamron Johnson caught a 41-yard TD pass from Jackson Woodle and Louis Taylor had an 11-yard touchdown run in the second.
However, that wasn’t enough as Mullins outscored Aynor 24-0 in the second half.
“They made a bunch of plays; we didn’t make many plays,” he said. “We just got outplayed.”
