MYRTLE BEACH — A frost advisory is in effect for Saturday morning in the inland areas of Horry and Georgetown counties, according to forecasters with the National Weather Service in Wilmington, N.C.
The advisory was issued early Friday and is in effect from 2 to 9 a.m. Saturday for inland areas because temperatures are expected to fall to the mid-30s, forecasters said. The coldest weather will be just before sunrise on Saturday morning.
Sensitive outdoor plants could be killed if they are left exposed and uncovered, forecasters said.
