MYRTLE BEACH — A Conway man was taken into custody Monday in connection with a home invasion that occurred earlier this month near Coastal Carolina University, Horry County police Lt. Robert Kegler said Tuesday morning.
Sean Louis Page, 37, of Conway was booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center at 12:53 p.m. Monday and charged with first-degree assault and battery, armed robbery, first-degree burglary and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, according to jail records.
Page is being held pending a bond hearing.
Page is the only suspect who has been taken into custody in connection with the incident that was reported about 1:30 p.m. Oct. 3, Kegler said.
Police were called after four suspects forced their way into a home on Quail Run in Quail Creek Village, assaulted a person inside and took various items before they left.
The neighborhood is accessed through the campus, off University Boulevard close to S.C. 544 and faces the Gardens Residence Halls.
CCU officials issued a text alert to students about the incident.
Anyone with information about the incident or the other suspects can call Horry County police at 915-5350.
