MYRTLE BEACH — A 50-year-old man was assaulted with what a golf club as he walked Thursday evening along Mr. Joe White Avenue in Myrtle Beach, according to a police report.
The victim was being treated at 6 p.m. Thursday by medics at the Myrtle Beach Fire Department Station No. 1 when officers arrived, police said.
The victim had a cut to his head and his arm appeared to be broken, according to the report. The victim was unable to give police any information about the incident other than he was hit with the golf club by someone.
Police reviewed nearby surveillance video and saw someone run up behind the victim and hit him with a golf club, according to the report. People in the area told officers they did not see the incident.
Officers are investigating the incident.
