Publix to build two stores along Grand Strand

Publix announced that it will open two stores along the Grand Strand.

Publix Super Markets announced Wednesday morning that it will open its first Grand Stores in late 2014 and early 2015.

The first opening will be for a 45,000-square-foot store in Coastal North Town Center at U.S. 17 and Moss Place in North Myrtle Beach. Coastal North was formerly known as Robbers Roost.

The second, also a 45-square-foot store, will be in a renovated space in Pawleys Island Plaza at U.S. 17 and Petigru Drive.
