MYRTLE BEACH — A Myrtle Beach man remained jailed Wednesday morning on $120,000 bond in connection with a home invasion in September, according to a police report.
Korey Moli Kawika Kai, 24, of Myrtle Beach was booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center at 12:37 p.m. Monday on charges of first-degree burglary, kidnapping and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, according to jail records.
An Horry County police report showed that a 59-year-old woman told officers that between 10:30 and 11 p.m. Sept. 4, three men broke into her home along Southland Drive in Longs. The men tied the woman up, ransacked her home and asked where her money was located.
The men then left and a friend came to the home, found the woman and untied her, according to the report. The woman went to a nearby convenience store and called police to report the incident.
