MYRTLE BEACH — And then there were two.
What picture best displays what Myrtle Beach is all about? Is it the photo of the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel by Doug Adams? Or the photo of a little girl jumping over a wave by online user WonderTwin?
After nearly a month of voting, it all boils down to those two photos in The Sun News’ Myrtle Beach 75th birthday photo contest.
For weeks, you’ve voted in the bracket-style competition to determine the contest’s grand prize winner – who will receive a 11-by-14-inch mounted canvas print of the winning photograph.
With six months of reader submissions behind us, the winners in each of the 16 categories were selected and faced off to determine the top two. And now it’s time to decide.
The contest ends Monday with the selection of the grand prize winner, which will be announced shortly after.
