Myrtle Beach police investigate couple arguing about nude photos, text messages

— Myrtle Beach police investigated an argument between an Horry County couple inside a parked vehicle about text messages and nude photos that were sent to another man, according to a police report.

Officers found a 31-year-old woman and 32-year-old man parked in a green van near Ninth Avenue North and Withers Drive after they were called for a disturbance in the area at 10 p.m. Sunday, police said.

Officers separated the couple and learned from the man that while they were using his wife’s cellphone as a GPS device for directions that she checked her text messages and he saw messages from another man, according to the report. The husband also told police he saw nude photos that she had sent to the other man.

The husband said the couple argued, but he never threatened her or physically touched her, according to the report. The woman verified her husband’s version of events.

The couple have been married for about three years and have a child together, according to the report. No other details were listed in the incident report.
