Horry County Police arrest 9 in prostitution sting

Detectives with the Horry County Police Departme3nt’s Narcotics and Vice Section made nine arrests in a prostitution sting Wednesday.

Officers used a website known for promoting prostitution to make the arrests. All of those charged were lodged in J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

Arrested were:

• Amanda Marie Ambler, 26, of Yukon, Okla., charged with prostitution.

• Heather Jane Ann Shea Coleman, 35, of Longs, charged with prostitution.

• William Cody Edmund, 25, of Myrtle Beach, charged with prostitution.

• Tara Melissa Forsythe, 31, of Ash, N.C., charged with prostitution.

• Tiffany Marie Forsythe, 31, of Ash, N.C., charged with prostitution.

• Robert Wayne Glidewell, 42, of Ash, N.C., charged with prostitution.

• Marcus Hugh Hopkins, 40, of Ash, N.C., charged with prostitution.

• Amber Marie Mercure Muirhead, 38, of Myrtle Beach, charged with prostitution.

• Ashley Melissa Long, 26, of Myrtle Beach, charged with prostitution and simple possession of marijuana.
