— A security officer accused of exposing himself to two women at a hotel turned himself in to police Monday.

Lakendrick Durrell Powers, 27, of Clarkton, N.C. is charged with indecent exposure.

The charges stem from June 23 at the Sea Dip Oceanfront Resort on the 2600 block of North Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach. Two women who were visiting friends at the hotel told police Powers said they needed to leave or they would be arrested, then said they could stay if they did him a favor, according to an incident report.

Powers asked who had the prettiest feet then asked one of the women to show him her feet in a stairwell, according to police.

While in the stairwell, Powers is accused of removing the woman’s shoe and masturbating.

The women said they complied with Power’s requests “due to the intimidation factor that the uniformed security guard exhibited,” according to the report.

Powers works for Excalibur Security, according to an arrest report, but it is not clear if he works security at the Sea Dip.
