Facebook concerns on the SNOB

Posted on September 16, 2013

Hello everyone. There was a lot of concern over the weekend about personal information being viewed now that we’re on Facebook commenting.

You can adjust your Facebook settings to where the only thing viewable will be your avatar. Of course, people can search for your Facebook page - which they could do anyway - but would have to request to be your friend befor ever seeing any information.

If you have concerns, make sure to read the FAQ here: http://www.myrtlebeachonline.com/2013/09/12/3704750/commenting-moving-to-facebook.html

If you can’t figure it out after that, feel free to give me a call at the office: 843-626-0307.

I really believe this is going to be a very positive move in the commenting because it adds a level of security and responsibility. Let’s consider it a fresh start for everyone.
