MYRTLE BEACH — After finding his burned car, Horry County police continue to search for information about a teen reported missing last month in Horry County, Lt. Robert Kegler said.
Zachary Malinowski, 19, was last seen Aug. 25 near Seventh Avenue in Aynor and was last spoken to by phone about 12:15 a.m. Aug. 26, police said.
On Monday, the vehicle, a 1996 Chevrolet Beretta that Malinowski was last seen driving was found burned along Valley Forge Road, Kegler said. Detectives are investigating the destruction of the vehicle and following leads regarding the teen’s whereabouts.
Malinowski was last seen wearing a red shirt, black gym shorts and either black and white flip flops or a pair of Air Jordan shoes.
Malinowski is 6’1” and weighs about 150 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
