MYRTLE BEACH — A gun was found at a Transportation Security Administration checkpoint at Myrtle Beach International Airport Wednesday afternoon, said agency spokesman Jon Allen.
David Joyner Kelly, 59, of Murrells Inlet is charged with carrying a weapon in a restricted place. He was released from J. Reuben Long Detention Center Thursday morning on $2,000 bond.
Allen said the gun was a loaded 9 mm and was found in a Kelly’s backpack.
