Two men plead guilty in separate internet crimes against children cases in Georgetown County, said S.C. Attorney General Alan Wilson.
Billy Jo Lynch entered a guilty plea for one count of criminal solicitation of a minor. According to a press release, Lynch had sexually explicit communications and sent pictures exposing himself to an undercover deputy in Georgetown County who Lynch thought was a 14-year-old girl. Circuit Court Judge Larry B. Hyman sentenced Lynch to three years suspended upon two years probation. He also must register as a sex offender.
Rickey Joe Sansom plead guilty to criminal solicitation of a minor. He had sexually explicit communications via email and text message over the span of a couple days while vacationing in Myrtle Beach with a deputy he thought was a 14-year-old girl. Hyman sentenced Sansom to five years under the youthful offender act, suspended to three years probation and must register as a sex offender.
