U.S. 17 reopens after closure for fatal incident involving pedestrian

Myrtle Beach Police confirmed Friday morning that U.S. 17 North had reopened after a fatal incident overnight.

A pedestrian crossing the highway was hit and killed by a vehicle late Thursday night, prompting the closure for an investigation.
